What a super great session with Peyton! You cannot beat German Village in the Spring....and we had a guest appearance with her boy Charlie.
They came in from Miamisburg and Peyton had her heart set on 2 things. Fashionable and to include her boy Charlie. Done and Done! We chose a setting with an urban vibe, but not a gritty urban vibe. Pretty, with cobblestone streets and lots of textures. German Village was the perfect backdrop and complimented her personal style and vibe.
She choose casual simple styles (but not too casual) and kept her colors solid. This is especially importrant in settings like this. Had she brought out alot of patterns, she would have had alot of competition with so many area textures. Instead her simple but beautiful choices, kept the focus of the shoot on HER.
Working with Charlie was fun and it's so easy to see their bond. Her images with her sidesick are fun, young and stylish. I adore them! We had a great day shooting in the village to create these amazing images she'll have for a lifetime. Here's what she said about her day!

The best part was walking the streets of German village, and picking out all of the best locations for the perfect pictures.

My biggest fear was the weather, but it ended being beautiful and clear with a little bit of wind.

After hair and makeup with Tatum I felt confident and comfortable, I think going over outfits carefully also improved with my confidence. (YESSSS! Tatum is a rockstar and your outfits can make or break your session! You made perfect choices!!)

We were going for rustic and magazine style photos.

Her portfolio was right up my alley and I was confident she had the experience to make feel natural behind the camera. (awww thanks girl!! You were a natural and super fun!!)
-
I always try to be free flowing and open for a different point of view. (Keep that for the rest of your days- :) Love that!)

In order to be successful, you have to step out of your comfort zone. ~My dad. (On point Dad!!)

My mom said it was amazing to see me so pretty and confident and seeing me enjoy myself. (and that you did!!)
Congrats on your upcoming graduation Peyton! Thank you for choosing me to capture this time for you!!
