Meet Zach from Gahanna Lincoln! 

I had an absolute blast working with Zach from Gahanna Lincoln High School for his senior portrait session earlier in the month.

I've literally been watching him play hockey thru images on his mom's facebook page since he was a kid! I knew when it came time for his senior session, this is where he'd want to be! 

So of course, we kicked things off at the Chiller North Hockey Rink, where Zach’s passion and dedication for his sport came alive in front of the camera. There’s something special about capturing a senior in their element and doing what they love. But this is also what makes their session so much more dynamic because these images would not have told the same story or had the same life had he just been in a jersey on the street. 

After the rink, we headed to the vibrant Arena District in downtown Columbus. The mix of urban vibes and Zach’s laid-back style created the perfect backdrop for the rest of our session.

This is such a fun spot, especially for the guys. A ton of backdrops and unique spots to work with and highlight Zach’s personality.

I LOVE working with repeat clients and worked with both Zach's sisters several years ago PLUS I've photographed all their pups! It was fun to share their images with them at their session premier and I think he was surprised at how much he really loved! 

Super cool session Zach! Thanks for navigating everything on the ice, including my lights and for being such a great sport off the ice! I wish you the best Senior Year ever!!!
