My session with Carley and her mom was amazing despite having to give her the "emergency call" of starting much earlier than anticipated as the weather looked crazy for the afternoon. That's the call I NEVER want to give my seniors, but appreciate so much when they keep their schedule flexible as the weather changes so fast.
I'll admit at the time I photographed her session, I was really itching to try some new locations. I love to change it up alot with my locations, but I realize that my seniors see their friends shoots and want images that look just as pretty. So not only was Carley incredible at dealing with crazy weather conditions, I also asked her if she'd be up for trying out some locations I've had my eye on. She was totally up for it and I'm sooooo HAPPY! For me, just even a small change of location, angles, or perspectives are enough to recharge me and get me thru a burnout phase.
I'm super happy with her gorgeous session!! She has very natural looking images, in a beautiful location and her styles were 100% on point with our locations. I had a blast working with both you and your mom but what made this so special was the fact the BOTH OF YOU had such a fun day together which I know will become a great memory. Can't wait for you to see your beautiful album in print. You'll love your images tenfold in print! Thank you for choosing me to capture this special time for you!!

I am not a "girly girl" so I did not think I would like posing and being in front of the camera so much. I have to admit that I loved all of it! From the makeup and hair to all of the great locations we visited. I think the best part was spending the day with my mom, laughing, talking and just being together. It made the day extra special.

As we got closer to my shoot I was really worried about the weather. It is Ohio. The forecast said it was going to storm so Claudine was proactive and we started 6 house early! We did have to wait out a little sprinkle, but the storms held off and we had an awesome session!

The most important thing for me to get out of the shoot were nice pictures that looked like me. I didn't want to wear a lot of makeup or look too glam because I wanted the pictures to still look like me and not over filtered. It was hard to trust the process. I was scared that my hair would look a mess from the weather and I would not like any of the photos. My mom and I loved them all! The hardest part was choosing which ones to keep.

I don't have much of a style unless you count athletic shorts and sweatshirts. I do like to shop. I knew that I wanted to take photos in a nature setting. I went online and looked for clothes that I thought would look good on me. I listened to Claudines suggestions and looked at what other girls had worn in their pictures.

My favorite photo is the one of me in my favorite outfit, the orange pants and white top, wearing the hat and sitting on the stool on the middle of the field with the black fence in the background. I loved everything about that outfit and location. Favorite all around.

Claudine did senior photos of a family friend. They all said good things and their photos were beautiful. After my mom spoke with her about the session she was sold. I am glad we said yes.
